It'’s 1974 and Chris D and the Destinations are at the top of their game. The band is on a national tour promoting their new hit single. However the band members have two big problems; co-founder and lead singer, Chris D’'Angelo and his wife Michelle. Both have raging drug problems. When Chris walks off stage in the middle of a set, Chris’' partner Jimmy calls off the tour- much to the dismay of Rick, the band’'s manager
Fast forward to 1985. The Destinations are back together for a reunion tour and are auditioning new female leads. Chris is clean and sober and Michelle, now his ex-wife, is no longer with the band. Chris hires Nicole, a dynamic singer with an abundance of self-confidence. Although reluctant, Jimmy agrees and the band hits the road. When opportunities arise, loyalties are tested and relationships break apart.
With a mix of humor and drama, Destinations explores friendship and loyalty and features an original rock and pop score.
